Many people are unable to attend church on Sundays for various reasons. Lifepoint Chapel was established on the vision to offer the Waterford and Clarkston community with an alternative worship option for those who would prefer it.

Our Saturday service is about 75 minutes long.

The dress code is casual. Some people enjoy dressing up. Others prefer to wear jeans and a t-shirt. Please dress comfortably.

On Saturdays, our children join with their parents or guardians during the singing portion of our service, after which they gather in their own kid friendly environment for Bible and objects lessons that make God’s Word come alive on their level.  And we take security and cleanliness seriously!

Our doors are open. Everyone is invited to worship with us, and we have people from many lifestyles in our church that are all on a unique journey. In our openness to all people, we are still committed to the truth of Scripture as our authority.

Of course! One of the benefits of our Saturday service is that it allows those with ministry commitments on Sunday to still enjoy worship with us.

Lifepoint Chapel is part of a fellowship of churches known as the Assemblies of God, a Spirit-filled movement rooted in Scripture, mission, and community.   We believe in the timeless truth of God’s Word and the life-changing power of His Spirit. The Bible:We believe the Scriptures are God-breathed — His inspired Word to us — and the final authority for what we believe and how we live.​The Fall of Man & Salvation:All of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.  But through repentance and faith in Jesus, we receive forgiveness, new life, and the gift of eternal salvation — not because we earned it, but because of grace.God:There is one true God — revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Redeemer, and the One who invites us into a loving relationship with Himself.Water Baptism & Communion:We practice two sacred ordinances:Water Baptism — an outward declaration of the inward change Christ has made.Communion — a reminder of His sacrifice and our unity in Him.Jesus Christ:Jesus is the eternal Son of God — fully God and fully man.  He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and is coming again as King.The Holy Spirit:The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live holy lives and share Christ boldly. We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience after salvation.​

Youth are invited to attend our main service on Saturdays at the Chapel. From September through June, we invite 6th-12th grade youth to attend youth group on Thursdays at our sister campus, Lifepoint Christian Church in Waterford, from 6-8pm. Thursday night service begins with an all-church meal and worship, followed by games, and faith-building messages for students. Our leaders are dedicated to giving teenagers a voice through fellowship, group discussions, and prayer.

Each Tuesday evening at 7:00pm we gather downstairs in the Commons for Bible study and fellowship.
